Ana Sely was born in Mexico. " She is a certified cosmetologist from Futurama Beauty Academy (2002) and Professional Makeup Artist from Makeup First School (2010). She resides and is certified in Chicago, Illinois.
The beauty world has always been her passion; that is how she began to practice it as a child, creating different types of eye looks. Then she practiced eyebrow waxing, haircutting, and styling with her friends. It was very pleasing for her to be able to do it. She has been familiar with hairdressing since she was a child. Being the barber's daughter, she is the only one of eleven siblings who dedicated herself to this profession (which, for her, is her passion).
Ana Sely began to acquire experience empirically for a long time. When she had the opportunity to go to school, she was always willing to perform any cosmetic service because she knew that practice makes perfect. More than once, she has donated her work to some charitable causes.
With more than two decades of experience, she knows that in this profession, you never finish learning, you don't get bored, and everything you learn makes you grow and gives you self-confidence. Her makeup style makes you look as natural as possible. You will notice the difference between before and after without leaving aside the dramatic looks.
Ana Sely still doesn't know what she enjoys doing the most. When doing makeup, she thinks about what hairstyle her model can wear or if the eyebrow needs plucking. She finds it gratifying to highlight the best features to give beauty to the face with only a few brush strokes.
In cosmetics, her favorite makeup brands are: Dior, Mac, Anastasia, Ives Saint Lauren, and Bare Essentials. Her specialty are brides, quinceañeras, theatrical makeup (Catrinas), and airbrush makeup. The brands she works with on hair are: Matrix, Schwarzkopf, Kenra, Hot Tools, Sexi Hair, Olaplex, and Joico.
Ana Sely strongly believes that her work is her best recommendation.
